Led by Dr. Diep Nguyen, a board-certified pediatrician, and Mary Queen, a registered post-partum nurse, Girlhood Charlotte brings puberty education modeled as a "party" for girls and their moms.  During a Girlhood party, girls are guided on the important information about their changing bodies in puberty. By utilizing an interactive, in-home model similar to Womanhood Charlotte, class leaders facilitate a fun and engaging learning experience where moms and daughters experience the transformative power of meaningful dialogue. Rather than treating puberty as an uncomfortable topic, Girlhood Charlotte encourages honest conversations that normalize the physical and emotional changes puberty brings while strengthening the mother-daughter relationship.
